Commissioning
Short Fjellheisen proposal sessions from €690. Private day commissions from €1,000. Night commissions from €1,650.
Each commission is quoted according to the date, duration, location and film coverage.
Transport is arranged separately and is not included in the commission fee. Clients may use their own or rental vehicle, or book licensed private transport.
When clients use their own or rental vehicle, we meet at the agreed location and travel between photography locations in separate vehicles. I can recommend a licensed private transport provider and coordinate the photography route with them, but the transport service is booked and paid for directly with the provider.

I prepare the plan
I plan the route and timing around the light, weather and road conditions, with a backup if conditions change.
You receive the finished work
You receive your photographs in a private online gallery. A film is included if you have booked one.
Working in the Arctic
Alongside my independent photography and film work, I guide and photograph Northern Lights tours with Greenlander. This gives me practical knowledge of changing weather, winter roads and locations across the Tromsø region and further inland.
I choose locations to suit the light, landscape and conditions on the day.
Practical questions
When are you based in Tromsø?
I am based in Tromsø through most of the winter season, usually from September to March. Availability varies, so it is best to enquire with a preferred date or date range.
Can you help choose a location?
Yes. I recommend the general area according to the season, light, weather and the type of session. The exact location may be adjusted close to the date when conditions become clearer.
Can the session take place under the Northern Lights?
Yes, but the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and cannot be guaranteed. Night commissions require flexibility in timing and location.
Is transport included?
No. Clients may use their own or rental vehicle, in which case we meet at the agreed location and travel between locations in separate vehicles. Licensed private transport may be booked separately. I can recommend a provider, but the transport agreement and payment are handled directly between the client and the provider.
Is drone photography included?
Drone photography may be included where airspace, weather and safety conditions allow. It cannot be guaranteed for every location.
Can photography and film be combined?
Yes. A short film can be added to selected sessions and can include sound recorded during the proposal.
How do I secure a commission?
A signed agreement and booking retainer are required to secure a commission. The remaining balance and all cancellation or rescheduling terms are confirmed in the individual agreement.
