John and Jake’s February session began with the landscape itself. Wide frames establish the ridge and the view over Tromsø before the sequence moves closer, gradually shifting the emphasis from place to the two of them.

The proposal becomes the natural centre of the sequence rather than its opening image. Afterwards, the pace slows again: time on the bench, portraits together and a return to the wider winter landscape.

It is a quiet Fjellheisen proposal in Tromsø, shaped as much by the setting and February light as by the moment itself.
