In August 2023, I photographed Annabelle and Rogier at Lovatnet in western Norway. The photographs move from preparations beside a blue camper to a ring exchange on a wooden jetty, with two children close by.

Portraits on the lake brought the landscape into the story: a wooden rowing boat, turquoise water and mountains under low cloud.

The wider series includes portraits beneath a glacier and a toast indoors. Close family moments sit alongside the open views of the lake and valley.
