Laura and Blake’s proposal at Trolltunga began with an approximately 2.5-hour hike in light rain. The route across exposed rock and mountain terrain forms the opening of the sequence, establishing the physical scale of the place before the proposal itself.
The photographs move from the wide reveal to closer frames of the ring and their interaction. Shifts in distance keep the moment clear and factual, while the surrounding mountains and fjord remain present throughout.
After the proposal, wider portraits place Laura and Blake within Trolltunga’s full landscape. A quiet final frame turns back towards the view before the approximately 2.5-hour return hike.
